Note that in normal practice
I would score the control surface hinge lines more deeply while
these 2 halves were still in one sheet, for ease of handling.

Another saw cut, and again I use only back-pulls for this stuff;
much easier to control:
Another score & break..."measure twice, cut once".

...and a vertical tail half is almost ready to rasp and sand,
but I'll trim away the deep edges on the backside with the knife
